This like most Restaurants need to hire only and all legal residents of the U.S.. Many workers at Chinese and other Restaurants don't speak or understand much English, cause mistakes in orders, waste precious time, you can't ask them advice about the food and those that DO speak English speak so fast you can barely understand what they say. They're very rude and if you ask them to slow down, they get angry! It's hard enough to communicate with them with the limited and poor English they DO speak slowly even.

I again called and placed an order and again due to this business hiring people who don't understand english well messed up my order. This is a problem with many businesses. There are too many illegal aliens holding jobs and they refuse to try and learn english or assimilate. Everyone has an excuse not to speak English, but they have no excuse taking our jobs!

The only complaints I have is that the delivery man doesn't speak English and when you make the order they aren't always listening and when somethihngs missing, they blame you like what happened to me tonight.

Being a single woman with no children, I like to treat myself once in a while. This is the best Restaurant in the Long Island City area because the food is pretty fresh and clean. I recommend China 1 Restaurant to anyone. The owner is also very nice and friendly. That is a quality I find very important too. To me it means he really cares about how he treats his patrons. Thumbs up for China 1 Restaurant.......where fast food has a new meaning!
